Itinerary
Day 1 – Thursday, September, 11 – Grapevine, TX
Arrive today in Grapevine, TX where you will enjoy a three night stay at a local hotel. Dinner is included this evening at a local restaurant. (D)
Day 2 – Friday, September 12 – Historic Nash Farm – Grapevine Observation Tower – Afternoon at GrapeFest w/Dinner Voucher – GrapeStomp Competition
After breakfast, start the day with a visit to Historic Nash Farm to learn how the early settlers to Grapevine lived.
Next, tour the Grapevine Observation Tower offering 360-degree views of the surrounding Grapevine area from 150-feet above. Located just outside of the festival grounds, this is the perfect place to kick-off your day.
Then some tome for lunch on your own at a European-Style Food Hall offering 10 culinary kitchens.
The afternoon is dedicated to GrapeFest which celebrates wines from around the world, but takes special pride in Texas wine. Explore the arts and crafts vendors along Main Street, enjoy festival foods, and plenty of wine! Be sure to experience the Rose’ Rendezvous and Champagne Terrace, both featuring live music, during your visit. Also included with your admission to GrapeFest is a $25 FestCard good for food and beverage purchases with GrapeFest Vendors.
Your visit will also feature a special GrapeStomp competition for your group. Teams of two can create their own special “I Love Lucy” moment and take turns stomping approximately 18 pounds of grapes for two minutes. Dinner is on your own this evening at the Festival. (B)
Day 3 – Saturday, September 13 – Grapevine Vintage Railroad – Texas Star Dinner Theater
Today, ride the Grapevine Vintage Railroad. You will take a step back in time and experience train travel as it was in the glory days of the expanding West. These rides also offer live entertainment! While on board, enjoy laughs and exciting adventures with Grapevine Vintage Railroad’s Theatrical Players.
End the day with a hilarious “who-dunnit” murder mystery dinner theater with the Texas Star Dinner Theater. A night you won’t forget complete with a delicious dinner and dessert, a well-stocked cash bar, and a side-splitting show. Immerse yourself in an award-winning 90-minute murder mystery dinner theater performance set in the 1880s of the wild west of Texas. Test your investigation skills and solve the murder mystery. Take photos with the cast after the show to round out a great night of fun! (B,D)
Day 4 – Sunday, September 14 – Depart for Home
