Itinerary
Day 1 – New Orleans – French Quarter Tour
Upon arrival in New Orleans, Louisiana you will start off your “Saints & Sinners Tour” with a tour of the charming French Quarter. One of the most unique cities in the world, New Orleans is a wonderful place full of history, culture and some of the best cuisine in the country. Your guide will show you this fascinating city steeped in traditions and a combinations of different cultures. You will visit the French Quarter, the Garden District, and the French Market.
Then you will check into your downtown New Orleans hotel for the next three nights. Dinner is on your own this evening, but you’ll have the chance to freshen up before heading out to a little adventure on your own. With maps and restaurant recommendations in hand and hungry stomachs you can explore a bit and savor the world famous cuisine. After dinner and free time in the city you will return to the hotel for a restful night.
Day 2 – Jazz Brunch – Mardi Gras World – Cemetery Tour – Live Jazz Music
This morning, you will start your day “The New Orleans Way” with a Jazz Brunch at the legendary Court of Two Sisters Restaurant. Pass through their Charm Gates, make a wish in the Devil’s Wishing Well, and hear the story of Emma and Bertha while enjoying authentic jazz music and luscious Creole and Cajun cuisine.
Then, see where Mardi Gras is made at Blain Kern’s Mardi Gras World. You’ll learn the history of Mardi Gras, see the artists working on magnificent floats, have a chance to try on costumes and even enjoy a bite of locally famous “King Cake.” You will then be dropped at Jackson Square for some free time. You’ll have a chance to visit with street vendors, look into local shops, see the St Louis Cathedral and find a bite to eat for lunch.
This afternoon take a walk on the wild side and a look into the New Orleans Voodoo Museum. Voodoo has been a significant part of New Orleans culture since the city was first established in the 1700’s. Your tour explores the mysteries, legends, traditions of voodoo and will educate you on the influence voodoo has had throughout the city’s history.
You also learn about disaster, sinister spirits and murder most foul on a Haunted History Tour. It’s spooky fun! A historically accurate walking tour with tales of hauntings and vampire lore. Hear the real story of Madame LaLaurie and the LaLaurie Mansion, then take a walk through one of the Crescent City’s Haunted Cemeteries.
Tonight, enjoy an authentic Creole dinner at a local New Orleans restaurant. Enjoy traditional fare like Gumbo, Jambalaya, Red Beans and Rice, Shrimp Creole and more!
After dinner you will head to Frenchman Street, the heart of New Orleans Music District, to party and dance to a live Jazz Band for a two hour set, as they cover all the local favorites from Louis Armstrong, to Dr. John, to Harry Connick, Jr.! Enjoy two complimentary alcoholic beverages this evening. After burning off all the calories from dinner and dancing, you will head back to the hotel for a much needed and well deserved sleep. (B,D)
Day 3 – Free Time – US Tours Saints Tailgate Party – “Second Line” – New Orleans Saints Game
Depending on Game Time, there will be time today to relax and explore on your won. Enjoy the arts and charm of Royal Street, the decadent Jazz of Bourbon Street, or shop for souvenirs. There is something for everyone in this fabulous city and you will have a free morning before the game or free evening afterwards – all depending on game time (to be announced).
Start the day as VIP’s on your way to the Mercedes Benz Super Dome, as you enjoy private, police escorts, to take you down Poydras St to see those Saints go marching in! You unload near Champions Square all decked out in your black and gold to enjoy a U.S. Tours Saints Tailgate Party! Start the day off right with delicious tailgate food and an open bar, as you get ready to cheer on those Saints!
An hour before kickoff, you get to celebrate another New Orleans tradition! Every passenger will receive a customized handkerchief and line up behind an authentic New Orleans Brass Band – as we will “Second Line” into the Super Dome this morning! Your Second Line Parade will fill the air with the unmistakable Dixieland Jazz, with favorite songs from Louis Armstrong and Fats Domino!
As you approach the check in gate, everyone will receive a game ticket to see the New Orleans Saints take on a worthy NFL opponent! The atmosphere in the “Dome” is electric and unlike anything you have ever seen as everyone gears up to cheer on those Saints together! You will be a part of the Who Dat? Nation when the game kicks off.

Day 4 – Cafe Du Monde – Depart for Home
This morning, after hotel checkout, enjoy one last treat before heading home, you will visit the world-famous Cafe Du Monde! In operation since 1862, Cafe Du Monde is a favorite with the locals and visitors alike. They serve up fresh hot beignets (French Doughnuts) covered in a blanket of sweet powdered sugar that no one can resist. Coupled with their own special blend of coffee or Cafe au lait makes the experience unforgettable. Depart for home. (B)
