Itinerary

Day 1 – Savannah, GA – Dinner Cruise

Today, travel to Savannah, GA and check into your hotel for a two-night stay. Tonight, enjoy a Savannah Riverboat Dinner Cruise with dinner, entertainment and an unforgettable tour of this historic waterfront city. Delight in the refreshing river breezes on a sightseeing harbor tour, savor delicious local southern flavors and live entertainment. (D)

Day 2 – Trolley Tour – Davenport House – Savannah Christmas Market – Dinner at The Olde Pink House – Christmas Show at Savannah Theatre

This morning, enjoy a Trolley Tour of Savannah through the Historic District of the City.  On this tour see moss-draped oaks, stately mansions, beautiful squares, expansive riverfront, and over 270 years of history – from the comfort of your nostalgic trolley seat.  Be on the lookout, because characters from Savannah’s past like to hop aboard the trolley from time-to-time.

Next, visit the Davenport House Museum and experience an authentic early 19th century holiday season in Savannah. Learn how the Davenport household celebrated Christmas and New Year’s in the 1820s.

The afternoon is yours for lunch on own and to enjoy the Savannah Christmas Market. Discover the magic and festivity of a traditional European Christmas Market brought to life at Plant Riverside Savannah’s Entertainment District.  Here you’ll find a small collection of stalls lined up right along the river, selling mulled wine, beer, pretzels, and chocolatey treats. There will also be a wide range of holiday-themed activities as well as live music performances.

Dinner is included this evening at The Olde Pink House, Savannah’s only 18th century mansion. The restaurant serves classic Southern cuisine in an elegant mansion.

Following dinner, you have reserved seats for a Christmas Show at the Historic Savannah Theatre.  “A Christmas Tradition” brings you holiday glitz and glitter with a 2-hour performance. The theatre is transformed into a holiday perfect picture, sharing memories of the Christmas standards that you know and love. Sprinkle in a little comedy and audience participation for the greatest event of the season. (B,D)

Day 3 – Holiday Cookie Baking Class – Depart for Home

After breakfast, enjoy a Holiday Cookie Baking Class. Chef Darin will teach you have to make delicious Holiday cookies and you have a sweet treat for the trip home.  Depart for home following the class. (B)
