Itinerary
Day 1 – Pigeon Forge, TN – Skyland Ranch – Dinner & Show
Arrive today in Pigeon Forge, TN and check in at the Country Cascades Resort for a two night stay.
Then visit SkyLand Ranch, a new attraction set on a 100 acre farm high in the Great Smoky Mountains. You will ride a scenic chairlift to the mountaintop where hours of fun await. Experience a mountain coaster that’s over a mile long, a suspended bridge with a canopy walk. SkyLand Ranch is also home to a variety of miniature animals, food barns, food trucks and retail shops. It’s a beautiful place.
This evening you enjoy a live music Country Music Show by the Brad Hudson Band. Brad spent last summer traveling with Diamond Rio and this spring he will be the headliner on SkyLand’s Stage. Tonight, you also have a $20 meal voucher to spend at the Food Trucks here atop the mountain. (D)
Day 2 – Bigfoot Tour on the Foothills Parkway – Great Smoky Mountains Big Foot Festival – Lumberjack Show and Meal
After breakfast, depart your hotel in search of Bigfoot. Your guide will lead you through an area known as Weirs Valley where there are a number of Bigfoot Carvings, then up onto the Foothills Parkway a beautiful drive along the mountaintop with several scenic view points. If there are any of these bashful creatures living in the area, this is likely where they will be. Your group will also stop at the Sasquatch Store before heading to the Festival.
Then back in the mountains near Townsend you come to a clearing where the 3rd annual Smoky Mountain Bigfoot Festival will be held. This promises to be an EPIC event! With over 70 Bigfoot vendors, live music on the Bigfoot Stage, food trucks, Bigfoot competitions, wood carving, and famous Bigfoot researchers – there is something here for every Big Foot enthusiast!
End the day with a delicious dinner at Harpoon Harry’s and experience Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud Show! This evening, enjoy High-Energy Axe Throwing, Chopping, Sawing, Speed Climbing, Log Rolling and other competitive events. View all from a covered grandstand with padded seating. (B,D)
