Itinerary
Day 1 – Atlanta, GA
Travel to Atlanta, GA. Check into your hotel for a three night stay. Dinner on own.
Day 2 – Stone Mountain Park
Enjoy a full day at Stone Mountain Park. Each day during Stone Mountain Christmas, you can enjoy park attractions including Summit Skyride, Scenic Railroad, and more! Then, become immersed in holiday magic with evenings full of festive music, millions of dazzling lights, spectacular shows and visits from some of your favorite holiday characters!
Discover what makes Stone Mountain Christmas Atlanta’s favorite holiday celebration. Catch favorite experiences including the NEW World’s Largest Christmas Light Show and the Snow Angel’s Christmas Parade!
Do a little Holiday Shopping, find things from hand blown glass ornaments to homemade fudge to seasonal items and more.
The Memorial Hall Walkway has been transformed into The Musical Frosted Forest during Stone Mountain Christmas! Stroll through this extraordinary walkway of magical lights synced to festive music. It’s fun, and the lights above are just gorgeous. Definitely a hit. This walkway is lit up from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. each night. Dinner is included tonight at one of Stone Mountain’s restaurants. (B,D)
Day 3 – Helen, GA – Baby Land General Hospital
Depart Atlanta and travel to Helen, GA, but first stop at the Baby Land General Hospital, the birthplace of the world-famous Cabbage Patch Kids.
Free Afternoon in the quaint village of Helen. Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains on the Chattahoochee River, Helen is a re-creation of an alpine village complete with cobblestone alleys and old-world towers.
This Northeast Georgia village has a rich history linked to the Cherokee Indians and Indian burial mounds as well as early settlers who arrived to mine for gold and cut virgin timber for a thriving lumber industry in the early 1900’s.
While shopping, you will find imported cuckoo clocks, steins, handcrafted quilts, hand carved crafts, homemade food and so much more.
Get into the holiday spirit with the art exhibit, “Better than Ever Holiday Show, ” the Festival of Trees and more holiday activities. Tonight dinner will be in one of Helen’s unique restaurants. (B,D)
Day 4 – Depart for Home
After breakfast, depart for Home. (B)
