Our “Route 66 Snapshots” offer you 5, 6 & 7 day segments of this classic highway. This tour will focus on Oklahoma, the longest stretch of Route 66 (over 400 miles). This highway played a large part in the history of the State and this trip features classic icons, unique dining, and fun stops on Route 66.
Road Trip: Pioneer Woman Mercantile
Ree Drummond, aka The Pioneer Woman, has launched an empire from Pawhuska, Oklahoma, a small town brimming with charm. She is the blogger, best selling author and host of the Food Network Show “The Pioneer Woman Cooks.” This tour feature’s her story and shows the affect that a TV Show can have on a small town. It includes lots of shopping, Native American history and nature here in the High Grass. Plus there’s a Family-style Four Course Dinner in the Mercantile.
