Itinerary
Day 1 – Visit the Ark Encounter – Dry Ridge, KY – Cracker Barrel Meal Voucher
Today, enjoy a visit to The Ark Encounter, offering an experience like no other. From the moment you turn the corner and the towering Ark comes into view, to the friendly animals in the petting zoo, to the jaw-dropping exhibits inside the Ark, you’ll experience the pages of the Bible like never before. This marvel of engineering is seven stories tall and is a football field and a half long. It is the largest timber frame structure in the world. Get ready to experience close-up encounters with stunning animals. Some life-like recreations from Noah’s day and many living-and-breathing animals from today. Enjoy lunch on your own at Emzara’s Kitchen or outdoor vendors.
Then arrive in Dry Ridge, KY for a two-night stay. Tonight, enjoy dinner at the Cracker Barrel using a $20 Meal Voucher that can be used toward your dinner and the gift shop. (D)
Day 2 – Visit the Creation Museum – Stargazer Planetarium – Barnwood Bravo Theater Evening Entertainment
After breakfast, visit the Creation Museum. Be prepared to experience history in a completely unprecedented way. This state-of-the-art 70,000 square foot museum brings to life the pages of the Bible, casting its characters and animals in dynamic form and in familiar settings. Adam and Eve live in the Garden of Eden. Children play and dinosaurs roam near Eden’s Rivers. The serpent coils cunningly in the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Majestic murals, great masterpieces brimming with pulsating colors and details, provide a backdrop for many of the settings.
The museum has been divided into unusually configured spaces that allow for personal interaction with each of the 160 exhibits. The museum offers murals and realistic scenery, computer-generated visual effects, more than fifty exotic animals, life-sized people and dinosaur animatronics.
Then visit the Stargazer Planetarium located at the Creation Museum. Sit back and be amazed with new laser projectors displaying vividly realistic images upon a 30-meter-diameter tilted dome, allowing stargazers to travel anywhere in the universe. Enjoy learning from scientists and astronomers who affirm young-earth creation and explain how what we see in the night sky confirms God’s Word in Genesis.
Returning to Dry Ridge, KY, enjoy dinner at Kelli’s Homestead Restaurant. Then enjoy some evening entertainment at The Barnwood Bravo Theater, the home of live family friendly entertainment in the Northern Kentucky area. The theater hosts local music including Bluegrass, Southern Gospel, Country, Clean Comedy, Contemporary Christian and some older (family friendly) rock and roll. (B,D)
