Itinerary
Day 1 – Dayton, OH – Drury Inn Dayton
Arrive today in Dayton, OH and check the Drury Inn Dayton North for a three night stay. Dinner is on your own this evening but you can take advantage of Drury’s 5:30 Kickback Happy Hour (HH). Each evening from 5:30 pm-7:30 pm, the hotel offers a rotating menu of hot foods and cold beverages. (HH)
Day 2 – National Museum of the U.S. Air Force w/lunch – Aviation Hall of Fame – Wright-Patterson Air Base – Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park
Start the day with a visit to the National Museum of the United States Air Force — this is the oldest and largest military aviation museum in the world — located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The museum galleries are filled with military aviation history, boasting more than 360 aerospace vehicles and missiles on display — many are rare and one-of-a-kind, There are thousands of historical items and powerful sensory exhibits that bring history to life and connect the Wright brothers’ legacy with today’s stealth and precision technology. A boxed lunch is included here.
You also tour the National Aviation Hall of Fame honoring world-famous pilots and space travelers. These exhibits delve into the now more than more than 100 years of flight history. This museum is attached to the Museum of the U.S. Air Force.
In the afternoon you visit the Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park, a collaboration between the National Park Service and some of the region’s most treasured historic sites. Each of these national landmarks pay tribute to Dayton’s influential, innovative leaders especially Wilbur Wright and Orville Wright. See the simple bicycle shop where the Wright Brothers began their quest to invent a flight machine and see the original 1905 Wright Flyer that Orville and Wilbur used during early flight testing.

Day 3 – One Day Admission to The Dayton Air Show – Blue Sky Chalet Reserved Seating – Lunch & Unlimited Drinks
Known as the Birthplace of Aviation, Dayton, Ohio, is a city that knows how to take things to new heights. And that is certainly true when it comes to the southwestern Ohio destination’s signature festival: the Dayton Air Show. This event brings a variety of aviation-themed activities to the grounds of the Dayton International Airport that would make Dayton pioneers Orville and Wilbur Wright proud.
In addition to the featured jet team performance by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, other aerial acts — the AeroShell Acrobatic Team, the Army Golden Nights and a group of World War II Tora! Tora! Tora! re-enactors — take to the skies.
On the ground, there are extensive group of displays and activities, which include exhibits covering different eras of flight and commercial and military aircraft they can board and tour.
You will have Blue Sky Chalet Reserved Seating. Included is reserved umbrella table seating with chairs, access to air conditioned tent and restroom, lunch and snacks with unlimited beverages including beer, wine, ice tea and soda served all day. There is also shuttle service available to and from the chalet area.
This evening dinner is included at a local restaurant. (B,L,D)
Day 4 – Depart for Home
After breakfast, depart for home. (B)
