Itinerary
Day 1 – Wednesday, Sept 11 – Lancaster, PA – Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre
Arrive today in Lancaster, PA where you enjoy a two-night stay at a local hotel. This evening, enjoy the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre. The Dutch Apple provides top quality productions, award-winning food and exceptional service in the heart of the Amish Country. It features a simple yet sophisticated charm you won’t find in many theatres. Show to be determined. (D)
Day 2 – Thursday, Sept 12 – Full Day at Quilt Week – Miller’s Smorgasbord & Quilt Shop – DANIEL at Sight & Sound Theatre
Today, enjoy a full day at the American Quilter’s Society QuiltWeek Event at Spooky Nook Sports Conference Center in Manheim. Enjoy special quilt exhibits, featuring curated collections from around the world. Take quilt classes, enjoy lectures, and shop fabrics, notions and more at the Vendor Merchant Mall. Most of all, be inspired as you explore beautiful quilts, from award-winning and semi-finalist contest quilts to special exhibits.
This evening, enjoy dinner at Miller’s Smorgasbord. Miller’s is Lancaster’s original buffet and restaurant. Their tried and true PA Dutch recipes are prepared with the freshest ingredients, and are always served up with a smile. After you are finished dining, go next door and check out the Quilt Shop at Millers.
End the day with the newest show at Sight & Sound Theatre – DANIEL. Taken from his people, Daniel is exiled far from home in the powerful kingdom of Babylon. Now this faithful servant must navigate his new life inside a palace filled with golden statues and shifting empires. As royal pressures mount, Daniel is faced with a dangerous choice. Will his trust in the one true God remain steadfast through every test of faith?

Day 3 – Friday, Sept 13 – Guided Amish Backroads Tour – Lunch in Amish Home – Depart for Home
After breakfast, meet your local guide for an Amish Backroads Tour. See the farmlands, hear the stories, and learn the difference between Amish beliefs and yours. Also included during this tour is a family style lunch in an Amish Home.
